THE GREEN LIFE

THE GREEN LIFE

Environmental issues such as pollution, climate crisis and deforestation have for a long time tormented our world and brought serious effects with them involving death, drought and extreme climate changes. As part of the objectives in the CBC curriculum designed by the government, students should be competent in the seven core areas namely; communication and collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, imagination and creativity, citizenship.

Knowledge gained involves coming up with ideas preventing earths destruction from the basic planting of trees and good waste disposal practices to more complex measures that they will engage with higher learning.

Moi Educational Centre is built on a vast area offering the students space for agriculture and environmental exposure. Have you visited our site and witnessed the trees growing? Maybe you should! Interacting first hand in the green life gives them a wide range of skills and analytical tools needed to face the global issues head on. They gain intellectual and methodological tools to understand and address the crucial issues of our time. Making a difference can be more individualized for instance, the Earth hour where the last Saturday of March every year people switch off their lights in support of the planet. You don’t have to wait till that day however; do your part today!
